September

For September I am happy to share with you the first couple of paintings in my new tropical island fantasy series, a group of small bright paintings.

Bring a drink and feel free to come hang out -- First Saturday Arts Market on 19th Street in the parking lot of the Wind and Water Gallery.

I'll have my prints on hand as well.

FYI the new originals are 12 by 12 inch acrylic on cotton paper, $50 -$100. Prints coming.

July Market

Hey friends,

I have been very busy with Spirits of Doom, the new Middle Eastern Style band I am in. But I will be at market this weekend.

I will not have new paintings, but will have lots of prints, especially a good stock of small $10 matted prints, which make a neat gift, a nice memento, or something to brighten up a tiny spot with a colorful window into the imagination.

So, just come out, hang out, feel welcome, and I will try to remember to bring some extra chairs!

February -- Dog Kisses

Ok, I always say but I don't do pet art! I say it an an authoritive, artsnob sort of way. But this time, it's all about dogs and all dog art benefits my dear friend who goes out of her way to save them -- a tenderheart for old houses, old people, and dogs.

Come out and see my originals and prints of dogs -- still in the works. They're bright and fun! And there's no telling what is coming next! I am painting all week! Hope they bring you a laugh and some delight!

February

No Market is taking place in January this time, so come see me in February.

In the meantime, drop a note at sagerosse@gmail.com if you want to say hi, introduce me to a friend, or get a print you forgot to pick up. I will be in town

Stop in soon to see what kind of work I will be posting -- so exciting, funny and fun!

I think you will laugh!

December Market Fun

My weekend was full of friend-hugs and doggie kisses. I have the most beautiful, wonderful, creative, fabulously off-the-wall friends that a person could imagine. Thank you for being you!

A beautiful show of winter-inspired paintings is coming your way.

Paintings for La Noche Rosa

These paintings will be at La Noche Rosa, a gala benefitting The Pink Door www.thepinkdoornonprofit.org.

I will also have prints available at my art booth at First Saturday Market.

Thanks!

Thank you to every wonderful person who dropped by the market and came to see me!

Rick, Tyler, Martin, MB and many wonderful people who love art and who are fun to talk to.

Announcements coming about future events!

Or keep it for yourself. You can mat and frame it yourself affordably at the craft store.

Perfect for small spaces.

October -- Affordable Art

The above paintings, and many others, are now available in the form of $20 matted prints.

The image is 8x10 and the outside of the mat is 11x14. Since this is a standard size, they fit right into an inexpensive ready made frame from the craft store. Or you can go wild with some wonderful custom framing.

Enjoy!

First Saturday in September

Sorry I missed you in August!

Come see some vivid, full-of-joy work, more prints and big paintings.

Lots of great colors -- black and white, purple and red, blue and gold. Strange flowers, a beautiful black duck, and a huge blue cat who is clearly waiting for what happens after the sound of the can opener.
